Licence & terms
Last updated 16 August 2026
Plain English, because there is no reason for this to be complicated. These terms cover the spreadsheet templates sold by Sorted Sheets Co (ABN 81 124 908 107).
What you are buying
A digital file - a spreadsheet template - delivered as a download. Depending on the product you receive a Microsoft Excel file (.xlsx), a link to copy a Google Sheets version, or both. There is no physical item, no subscription and no ongoing service.
What you may do with it
- Use it for your own personal purposes, or inside your own business.
- Make as many copies as you like for your own use, across your own devices.
- Change it, rename it, add to it, strip parts out - it is your copy, edit it freely.
- Keep using it forever. There is no expiry and no licence check.
What you may not do with it
- Resell it, give it away, or redistribute it, whether changed or unchanged.
- Share it outside your household or your own business.
- Include it in another product, bundle, course or template pack you sell or distribute.
- Claim it as your own work.
Put simply: buy it once and use it as much as you want, but the file is not yours to pass on or sell. Copyright in the templates stays with us.
Refunds
Because these are digital files that are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds. If a file does not arrive, will not open, or does not do what the listing says it does, contact us and we will fix it or refund you.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected by anything on this page. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where a guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to re-supplying the product or refunding what you paid, at our option.
These are tools, not advice
Our budgeting, debt, savings, bookkeeping, pricing and property templates are general-purpose calculators. They are educational tools only. They are not financial, taxation, accounting, legal or investment advice, and they do not take your particular circumstances into account.
Any figure a template produces depends entirely on the information you put in. Check the output before you rely on it, and speak to a qualified accountant, tax agent or licensed financial adviser before making a decision that matters. Tax rates, thresholds and reporting rules change, and a template does not update itself.
No guarantee of a particular result
We build these carefully and test every formula automatically before release, but we cannot promise a template will suit your specific situation or be free of every possible error. To the extent the law allows, and subject to the Australian Consumer Law paragraph above, our total liability for any claim relating to a template is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Privacy
This website collects nothing - no accounts, no analytics, no cookies, no tracking. Purchases happen on the marketplace we sell through, and that marketplace's privacy terms apply to the transaction; we never see your payment details. The spreadsheets themselves do not transmit anything anywhere. Whatever you type into them stays on your device.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
